İnself Manifestosu

Inself, heykeltıraş Elif Yavuz ve grafik tasarımcı Sercan Dereboylu’nun ortak üretim alanıdır. Farklı disiplinlerden gelen iki yaratıcı yaklaşımın kesişiminde doğan bu stüdyo, içgüdü, malzeme ve form arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırır.

Çalışmalar; katmanlı ahşap yüzeyler, akrilik boya ve epoksi reçinenin bir araya geldiği çok katmanlı bir üretim süreciyle ortaya çıkar. Her eser; oyma, katman oluşturma ve döküm aşamalarından geçerek iki boyut ile üç boyut arasında bir alan yaratır.

Inself’te üretim süreci, kontrol ile sezgi arasındaki dengede şekillenir. Formlar çoğu zaman doğadaki akış, hareket ve denge kavramlarından ilham alırken; malzemenin kendi davranışı da nihai formun oluşumunda belirleyici olur. Ahşabın dokusu, epoksinin akışkanlığı ve yüzeyin derinliği, her eserin karakterini oluşturur.

Elif Yavuz ve Sercan Dereboylu, Inself aracılığıyla yalnızca nesneler üretmeyi değil; malzeme, hareket ve sezgi arasında kurulan diyaloğu görünür kılan formlar yaratmayı amaçlar. Her çalışma, içsel bir hareketin ve yaratım sürecinin izini taşır.

Inself Statement

Inself is a collaborative studio founded by sculptor Elif Yavuz and graphic designer Sercan Dereboylu. Bringing together two creative perspectives from different disciplines, the studio explores the relationship between instinct, material, and form.

The works emerge through a layered production process combining carved wood surfaces, acrylic painting, and epoxy resin. Each piece evolves through carving, layering, and casting, creating a space that exists between two-dimensional surface and sculptural depth.

At Inself, the creative process develops through a balance between control and intuition. The forms are often inspired by movement, flow, and balance found in nature, while the inherent behavior of the materials also plays a defining role in shaping the final composition. The texture of wood, the fluidity of epoxy, and the depth of the surface together form the unique character of each work.

Through Inself, Elif Yavuz and Sercan Dereboylu aim not only to produce objects, but to reveal forms that make visible the dialogue between material, movement, and instinct. Each work carries the trace of an inner motion and the process of its creation.
